Living Wellness is an Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine centre in
Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia.
Acupuncturist and herbalist James Evans, and Chi Kung, Tai Chi and
Meditation practitioner Barbara Wolff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality health,
fertility and healing support using the original philosophy and principles of Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Our services and expertise can help with a variety of physical and mental ailments. We also work with you to prevent health problems from arising and
to promote life-long wellbeing.
We have specialised in fertility health for over 17 years and have a comprehensive program to improve reproductive health in women and men. We treat most fertility challenges and work to maximise the chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy. We have extensive understanding and experience of artificial reproductive technologies (ART), such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), and work alongside fertility clinics and Western medicine
to improve treatment outcomes.
We offer consultations and treatments in our Subiaco centre, which is a welcoming and
calming space where you can deeply rest, learn and regenerate.

James is a qualified and licensed acupuncturist with over 17 years of experience. He is an accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
James has extensive knowledge and experience of
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for general health care
and complex medical conditions, as well as of Oriental reproductive medicine and gynaecology.
James trained in the USA and worked with that country’s
foremost TCM practitioners. He completed a four-year Masters
degree at the Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in
Los Angeles in 2006, and became a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. He was then awarded a coveted three-year postgraduate fellowship at the renowned Tao of Wellness TCM Centre in
Santa Monica. He is also a Fellow of the American
Board of Oriental Medicine (ABORM).
BARBARA WOLFF
Chi Kung and Tai Chi instructor
After beginning her career as a lawyer in Perth, Barbara shifted her focus to explore meditation, the Feldenkrais Method of Awareness Through Movement and the ancient Chinese energy conducting practices of
Chi Kung and Tai Chi.
As part of the natural origins of TCM, Meditation, Chi Kung and Tai Chi are energy conducting practices that support living in harmony with the Universal Nature of life. Feldenkrais is a sensory-motor learning method that enhances mental and physical coordination for smooth, adaptable and effective movement through life. All these practices can awaken us to the innate peace and beauty of life and support its full expression.

Barbara is a senior certified instructor in Chi Kung and Tai Chi with the Chi Health Institute in Los Angeles, and a certified meditation teacher with the International Taoist Meditation Institute in Los Angeles. She is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner having completed her training in
New York from 1991 to 1994.
Barbara was a faculty member of the Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles from 2006 to 2009 where she taught Chi Kung. She became the first instructor authorised to teach the Fertility Chi Kung program designed by TCM fertility specialist,
Dr Daoshing Ni. She also trained in herbal medicine preparations at the Tao of Wellness TCM clinic in Santa Monica, USA.
